Ms Ch'ng Suat Ping worked as a Chambering Student and Legal Assistant in Messrs Ghazi & Lim from 2000 to 2001. In 2001, she joined Choy & Associates as a Legal Assistant and eventually became a Partner until she left in 2006.

From 2006 to 2008, Ms Ch'ng was running her own legal firm, Ch'ng Suat Ping & Co. which merged with Messrs See, Ramsun & Tan in year 2008 where she became a Partner in Messrs See, Ramsun & Tan until end of 2017.

In 2018, Ms Ch'ng joined Messrs Vello & Associates as a Legal Assistant and is currently a Partner of the firm.

In 2019, Ms Ch'ng was appointed as a Director of Plenti Corporation Pty Ltd and Lillico Pty Ltd. In 2022, Ms Ch'ng was appointed as a Director of Ghee Hiang Manufacturing Co Sdn Bhd.
